How a carton wrapper differs from a pallet wrapper
A turntable pallet wrapper places the whole pallet on a spinning table and wraps film over the entire load - protecting a combined pallet for storage and transport. A carton wrapping machine works differently: the carton passes through a film ring on a conveyor. The ring spins at high speed while the carton moves straight through, applying a spiral of PE film around each box. The box does not spin or sit on a turntable - ideal for wrapping single parcels continuously on a line.
When you need a carton wrapper
It suits: e-commerce packing each order quickly before handoff to a courier; distribution warehouses bundling loose boxes before palletizing; food production sealing boxes against moisture; and import/export adding a protective layer to each parcel. It is not suited to: large combined pallets (use a turntable); irregular shapes (round, long, non-square); or very heavy items (usually capped at 30-50 kg per box on the conveyor).

Can the DBC800 wrap small boxes (20x20x20 cm)?
Yes - the minimum is usually 100×100 mm. For small boxes, raise the ring speed to apply enough wraps over the short length.
Is carton-wrap film different from pallet film?
It is the same 500 mm stretch PE, but in a smaller roll (7-10 kg instead of 17 kg) to fit the machine’s film ring.
Can it connect to an existing conveyor?
Yes - the DBC800 runs standalone or integrates into a conveyor line, with adjustable height.
When should I use a pallet wrapper instead?
