Question 1: What is the heaviest load you need to lift, in kg?
The actual load must be at least 10% below the rated capacity. Example: a 2.7 ton pallet → choose BF-III 3T (not 2T). If you regularly lift 4-5 tons → you need DF-III 5T or to reconsider splitting the pallet.
Question 2: How high do you need to lift?
If you only need to raise the pallet 15-20cm off the floor to move it → a hand pallet truck is enough, no stacker needed. If you need to place goods on racks higher than 1m → you must use a manual stacker (SDJ/CDD) or an electric truck with a mast.
Question 3: What kind of floor is the operating area?
Flat epoxy/concrete floor → Xilin PU wheels work well. Rough floor, old concrete, container yard → choose harder nylon wheels or the DF-III line with ultra-low 85mm forks. Cold-storage floor (-20°C) → specialized heat-resistant PU wheels, avoiding ordinary rubber wheels that harden and crack.

Question 5: How wide are the aisles in the warehouse?

The SDJ (stacker with a standing tiller) suits warehouses lifting up to 1.6-2.5m, simple operation, lower price. The CDD (counterbalanced walkie stacker) has a rear counterweight, more stable when lifting 3-5.5m, with the operator standing on the truck. The CDD suits professional high-rack warehouses but needs a wider aisle of at least 2.5m.
5. Is the Xilin electric truck suitable for cold storage?
Yes, but you need to order the “cold storage” version - the motor and battery are reinforced to withstand sub-zero temperatures down to -20°C. ICD can order this version on request with a 3-4 week lead time. An electric truck in cold storage has a big advantage: no CO2 emissions (safe in enclosed spaces) and no loud noise that damages temperature-sensor equipment.
6. Can a Xilin hand truck be used on a warehouse floor without epoxy?
Yes. The BF-III with PU wheels works well on hard concrete, tiled floors and steel floors. On uneven floors (with ridges, gaps) → use harder nylon wheels or the DF-III line with ultra-low 85mm forks. Avoid floors with slippery grease or lots of sand grit - they wear PU wheels faster, so use specialized polyurethane wheels.
7. How do I properly maintain a hydraulic hand truck?
Every 12 months or after 1,000 lifts: check and change the AW32 or AW46 hydraulic oil (0.7-1.2 liter capacity depending on the model).
