I. PRODUCT LINES COVERED BY WARRANTY
ICD Vietnam applies its warranty policy to the following main product lines:
- Plastic Pallets, Plastic Crates: Including plastic pallets, industrial plastic crates, and plastic bins distributed by ICD Vietnam.
- Forklifts, Hand Trucks: Manual and electric forklifts, hand trucks, and other warehouse handling equipment.
- Pallet Wrapping Machines: Automatic and semi-automatic stretch wrapping machines.
Product lines not listed above are covered under the Company’s Return & Exchange Policy (please see the details on our website).
II. WARRANTY PERIOD
The standard warranty period for the products listed above is 12 months, calculated from the date of sale (based on the date shown on the ICD Vietnam sales invoice or delivery note).
III. CONDITIONS FOR FREE WARRANTY SERVICE
Your product is eligible for free warranty service if all of the following conditions are met:
- The product is still within the specified warranty period (12 months from the date of sale).
- The defect arose from the manufacturer (technical defect, material defect, or factory assembly defect).
- The ICD Vietnam warranty seal (or the manufacturer’s seal) remains intact, with no sign of scratching, peeling, tampering, or repair.
IV. CASES NOT COVERED BY FREE WARRANTY (CHARGEABLE REPAIR)
ICD Vietnam regrets that it must decline free warranty service and will apply a repair charge in the following cases:
- Misuse: The product is damaged due to use that does not follow the accompanying instructions, or due to use of accessories not specified by the manufacturer.
- Damage from external causes: The product is damaged due to external factors such as dropping, strong impact, storage in a damp or dusty location, excessively high or low temperature, water ingress, electrical short circuit, lightning, natural disaster, etc.
- Damaged seal: The seal on the product or accessories is peeled, torn, missing, or shows signs of tampering.
- Incorrect power source: The product is damaged due to use of an incorrect voltage or current rating.
- Incorrect installation or maintenance: Damage results from installation, maintenance, or use that does not follow the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Consumable accessories not covered: Consumable parts or accessories supplied with the product (e.g. batteries, chargers, cables, wheels) are not covered by warranty.
- Unauthorized intervention or repair: The customer has opened or altered the product themselves, or the product has been repaired at a location not authorized by ICD Vietnam (or the manufacturer).
- Signs of physical damage: The product shows mold, rust, corrosion, cracking, breakage, deformation, burning, internal liquid, or an unusual burnt smell.
