Used plastic pallets are second-hand pallets that ICD Vietnam cleans and resells for less than new stock. The English catalogue lists six black used models, 1,100 to 1,300 mm long and 120 to 150 mm high, priced from 155,000 to 380,000 VND each.
Most are recycled PP; the flat-deck 1100 × 1100 × 145 mm model is prime-grade HDPE. ICD photographs the actual batch and sends the pictures before delivery, with a VAT invoice.
1. Used plastic pallet models and prices
The table lists all six models on the English price list, sorted by size; click a model for photos and specifications. Load ratings are filled in only where the product data states them; for the others, ask before using the pallet on a forklift.

Prices are the list prices on each English product page in October 2026. According to ICD’s product data, the 120 mm models weigh 9.5-10 kg and the 145-150 mm models 10-15.5 kg. If you are unsure which load figure applies to forklift work, static versus dynamic pallet load explains the difference.
The flat-deck IPS1111145MD-1 is the only model with a stated condition and origin: prime HDPE sourced from Japan, South Korea, Singapore and China, rated at 90-95% condition. For the other models, ask for photos of the actual batch before you confirm the order.
2. Is a used pallet always cheaper than a new one?
Not always. On ICD’s English price list, the used 1200 × 1000 × 150 mm pallet costs 350,000 VND, while the new export pallet ICD-P-121015-CT in the same size costs 285,000 VND. Used stock pays off when its price is clearly below a new pallet of the same size, so check both before ordering. New models of every size, many with a stated resin grade and racking load, are listed in ICD’s full plastic pallet range.
3. How to check used plastic pallets before delivery
The weak points of a used pallet are where it carries load. Pick a few pallets from the batch at random and check that:
- The legs and the joints between legs and deck show no hairline cracks or broken corners.
- The deck does not sag on a flat floor and all four corners touch the ground.
- There are no heat welds or patch repairs, seen as ridges of re-melted plastic.
- There is no smell of oil, solvent or chemicals and no stain soaked into the plastic.
- The size and load moulded on the side match the model you ordered.
- The fork openings are not crushed or cracked, so forks slide in and out cleanly.
Use the load stated on the product page or moulded on the pallet, not the rating of a new pallet of the same size, and ask ICD before putting a model with no stated load on a forklift. A step-by-step grading method is set out in our used pallet quality checklist.
4. When used pallets make sense, and when they don’t
Used pallets suit jobs that need no material history: storage inside your own warehouse, keeping bagged goods off a damp floor, moving work in progress around a plant, or one-way shipments where the pallet is not returned.
Cold and freezer stores are the first place to avoid them. ICD’s product data for its recycled PP used pallets gives an operating range of 0-60 °C, and only the flat-deck HDPE models are rated down to -50 °C; plastic pallets for cold storage covers what freezer use requires. Food and pharmaceutical production areas are the second, because the previous use of a batch is hard to trace. Racking is the third: no used model states a racking load, so new warehouse storage pallets are the safer choice for beams.

1. Can used plastic pallets be used for export?
Yes. The ISPM 15 phytosanitary standard covers wood packaging material only, so plastic pallets, used ones included, need no fumigation or phytosanitary stamp. If the buyer wants uniform new pallets for the whole shipment, see ICD’s new export plastic pallets.
