Printing industry plastic pallets are trays and pallets that carry sheets, semi-finished work and paper piles at the feed and delivery ends of a printing press. ICD Vietnam lists 102 codes in 5 lines, with decks from 730×630 mm to 2000×1600 mm, dynamic loads of 300-1,500 kg and static loads of 500-5,000 kg. Compared with ICD’s general plastic pallets for warehousing and transport, this range carries many odd sizes beyond the usual storage footprints.
1. Five tray and pallet lines for print shops
The flat plastic pallet (flat tray) for printing has the widest choice, 43 codes; ICD-1612-160, ICD-135125-160 and ICD-1412-140 take 5,000 kg static. The grooved (slotted) printing tray comes in 19 codes, the largest being ICD-165120-175 at 1650×1200×175 mm. All 14 codes of the heavy-load printing pallet share 1,500 kg dynamic and 4,000 kg static; the 1750 mm long ICD-17512-160 is reinforced with ten steel tubes.

The blow-molded printing pallet has 14 codes and the largest deck in the category, ICD-2016-140 (2000×1600×140 mm, 1,500 kg dynamic, 3,000 kg static). The mesh-deck printing tray has 12 codes, starting from ICD-7363-145 (730×630 mm, 300 kg dynamic).
2. Matching the deck to sheet and feeder size
The 102 codes cover 58 different deck sizes. Three of them, 1000×800, 1100×800 and 1200×800 mm, exist in all five lines, so a printer can switch between flat, grooved, mesh and heavy-load decks without changing the footprint. The square 1000×1000, 1100×1100 and 1200×1200 mm decks and the 1300×1100 mm deck are offered in every line except the grooved tray.
Odd sizes such as 1465×1065, 1060×750, 960×720 and 860×730 mm appear only in the flat and grooved trays. Before ordering, measure the largest sheet you will stack and the feed and delivery tables of the press, then pick a deck that holds the whole pile with no sheet edge overhanging.
3. Flat, grooved or mesh deck
A flat tray supports the pile on one continuous surface, which suits paper waiting for the press and semi-finished work. On a non-stop sheet feeder, the bars that hold the remaining pile must slide into slots on the pallet so a new pile can come in without stopping the press. ICD’s grooved tray has a slotted deck; check slot position and pitch against the press before ordering.

Tall piles of large sheets call for the heavy-load line or one of the three 5,000 kg flat trays. The mesh tray tops out at 700 kg dynamic (ICD-1311-145), so keep it for light print runs, board and finished sheets.
