Square plastic crates are crates and tanks with a square or near-square footprint, used for water, oil, grease, chemicals and loose goods, and they stack tight on shelves and pallets. ICD Vietnam lists 14 models from 20 to 1,000 litres, with list prices from 70,000 VND (22 L, Type 2) to 2,500,000 VND (1,000 L IBC tank), moulded from virgin HDPE or PP.
Sizes under 100 litres suit loose goods and liquids that must be poured; the 300 litre tank stores water; the 500 and 1,000 litre IBC tanks sit in a steel cage for forklift handling.
1. Why choose a square footprint and which capacity
A round container of diameter D takes up a D by D square on a shelf but fills only 78.5% of it; a square container fills the whole square. At the same width a square footprint therefore adds about 27% more base area per shelf bay or floor cell. That is geometry, not a measured figure for each model.
The category splits into three groups: eleven models from 20 to 90 litres for loose goods, oil and grease; the 300 litre square tank; and two IBC tanks, one of 500 and one of 1,000 litres. 2. Square plastic crate models, sizes and list prices
List prices per unit before volume discounts. Where the table says Ask ICD, the product page publishes no outside size yet.

The 30, 55 and 90 litre bins are general-purpose square bins with a separate lid, so they also belong with lidded plastic crates. The 50 litre crate has the same 610×420 mm footprint as common solid crates, so it shares a shelf bay with solid bins on that base.
3. 20 litre oil and grease drums: spout or square body
The three 20 litre drums share a 300×300 mm base and a 385 mm height and differ in use. The oil drum TD-20L has a tight lid and a sturdy carry handle, suited to liquids poured often such as engine oil and fuel. Grease drum Type 1 has a pour spout in the lid, so grease can be dispensed without opening the full lid, which suits workshops and maintenance lines. Type 2 has a square body for tight stacking when storing in bulk.
For chemicals such as alkalis, acids or solvents, send the name and concentration so ICD can confirm the resin before you order.
4. How many square crates fit on one pallet layer
Calculated from outside sizes, ignoring gaps and rims, so real counts can be one unit lower.

The 50 and 60 litre crates waste the most space, because a 610 mm base does not divide the 800 mm side of the pallet. The 22 litre size and the IBC tank use their pallets best.
5. Square tank 300 L and IBC tanks 500 L and 1,000 L
The 300 litre HDPE tank holds water and diluted liquids; price guidance by size is in water tank price guide by size. Drinking water or food use needs written confirmation of the virgin resin for the model you choose.
An IBC tank is a square tank in a galvanised steel cage on a pallet base. The 1,000 litre ICD-IBC-1000-NEW measures 1200×1000×1155 mm and comes in five types; the UV-resistant shell in white, black or blue protects light-sensitive liquids and limits algae, and the two-port type (top fill, side valve) fills and cleans faster.
The 500 litre IBC tank also has a welded-mesh cage, a DN50 ball discharge valve and a DN150 vented cap, in vertical and horizontal types. The horizontal type fits on a truck, feeds by gravity and sits low for stability in transit. Price and size for each 500 litre type are confirmed by ICD.

8. Frequently asked questions when buying square crates
1. What is a one cubic metre square plastic tank?
One cubic metre is 1,000 litres, which is the IBC tank measuring 1200×1000×1155 mm in a steel cage.
2. Do the square crates come with lids?
Models ICD-TNC-30L-750, ICD-TN-55L-748 and ICD-No.747 are bins with a separate lid, and the 20 litre drums have tight lids. For the 300 litre tank, ask ICD which lid ships with each order.
3. Is there a spout or valve?
Grease drum Type 1 has a pour spout. The 500 litre IBC tank has a DN50 ball valve, and the 1,000 litre IBC has a side valve.
4. Can I store drinking water in them?
The range is sold for water storage; for drinking water or food, ask ICD for written confirmation of the virgin resin used in that model.
5. Which pallet does the 300 litre tank fit?
Its 1120×910 mm base sits on a 1200×1000 mm pallet with 80 mm spare on the length and 90 mm on the width. It is too wide for a 1200×800 mm pallet.
6. How long is the warranty?
Plastic crates carry a 12-month warranty counted from the sale date; terms are on the warranty and repair page. For IBC tanks, ask ICD to confirm the period when you order.
7. Can I add a logo, dividers or a card holder?
The 22 litre containers and the 20 litre drums can take a logo, a card holder, dividers or a lid. Other models are quoted separately.
