Danpla is the name used in Vietnam for corrugated polypropylene sheet: two flat skins joined by vertical ribs, so the sheet is light, does not absorb water and can be cut and scored into boxes. 2. Corrugated plastic sheet thickness, size and weight
All sheet codes use the 1220 × 2440 mm size (about 2.98 m²) and can be cut to order from DXF or PDF drawings. The standard Danpla sheet comes in white or blue from 2 to 5 mm, clear from 2 to 4 mm and black ESD from 3 to 5 mm. The 4 mm corrugated plastic sheet weighs 1,100-1,200 g, roughly 370-400 g/m², while the 5 mm corrugated plastic sheet weighs about 1,500 g, roughly 500 g/m², and is the stiffest option for large boxes and pallet liners. Two quotes for the same thickness are only comparable if the weight per square metre matches.
3. Anti-static (ESD) corrugated plastic boxes and dividers
Black colour alone does not make a sheet anti-static, so check the surface resistance listed for each ESD code. The anti-static Danpla box with dividers (cells of 20, 30, 50 or 100 mm) and the black anti-static Danpla box list 10³-10⁶ Ω. The one-lid anti-static Danpla box and the ESD divider set list 10⁶-10⁹ Ω.
For electronic component packaging, the dissipative range is usually taken as 10⁴ Ω up to below 10¹¹ Ω, so part of the 10³-10⁶ Ω band falls in the conductive range. If your plant needs exactly the dissipative range, write the resistance band on the order and ask for a per-batch test report, which ICD supplies on request. 4. Corrugated plastic boxes with lids, dividers and folding styles
The standard Danpla box handles everyday circulation of parts, while the single-lid Danpla box and the two-lid box with a fabric-style lid cover goods moving between plants. Danpla boxes made to your drawing start at 50 per size, or 100 for divider and folding styles.
Two folding styles save space when empties return: the carton-style folding Danpla box folds flat to about 3-5 cm, and the folding box with edge strips and rotating corners stands more rigidly when assembled. For loads that are heavy, concentrated on a small point or exposed to forklift tines, rigid plastic crates last longer than twinwall boxes.

6. Is corrugated plastic waterproof and heat resistant
PP twinwall does not absorb water, so a Danpla box keeps its shape when damp and can be wiped or washed, while corrugated cardboard softens and tears. That makes Danpla worthwhile when boxes circulate in a closed loop between factory, warehouse and supplier; for one-way shipments cardboard is cheaper. The 4 mm sheet and the black ESD box are rated for -10 °C to +60 °C.
