Easy-hygiene requirements: Food, pharmaceutical and electronics industries - danpla wipes clean with water or alcohol, cardboard retains odors and harbors bacteria.
High labor cost: If each cardboard replacement takes 15-30 minutes of labor (folding, cutting, disposing), the labor saving from danpla is also significant after a few months.
When Should You Choose Corrugated Cardboard?
Single-use packaging for shipping out: Export goods, delivery to the end consumer - danpla cannot be recovered, has a higher initial cost, and offers no benefit.
Complex printing, vivid colors: Multi-color offset-printed cardboard for B2C packaging is cheaper and offers better print quality than UV printing on danpla.
Limited initial budget: Startups or small orders with undefined long-term needs - cardboard allows testing without a large investment.
Goods needing complex box shapes: Cardboard is easier to glue, fold and form into complex shapes than danpla. 3D multi-compartment boxes and special-structure boxes usually use cardboard.
