2. What to check before buying used pallets

First, the load: ask for the dynamic rating if the pallet will travel on a forklift. 1. Are these 4-way entry pallets?
The English product pages do not state fork entry for these four codes, so ask ICD which sides take a hand pallet truck.
2. Is a cross-pattern pallet the same as a three-runner pallet?
No. A three-runner pallet has three solid runners under the deck, which limit hand pallet truck entry to the two runner ends. The pallets here take their name from the solid ribs that cross the deck, as seen in the product photos; pallets with runner bases are listed as three-runner plastic pallets.
3. What is the difference between static and dynamic load?
Static load is the weight a pallet supports while resting on a flat floor, for example at the bottom of a stack. Dynamic load is the weight it can carry while a forklift lifts and moves it, and it is always the lower of the two figures.
4. Do used pallets come with a warranty?
ICD’s warranty policy gives plastic pallets a 2-year warranty but does not set separate terms for used pallets, so confirm the cover for these four codes when you place the order.
