On 6 October 2026, ICD Vietnam marks 15 years since its founding. What began in Hanoi with basic packaging products has grown into an integrated supplier of plastic pallets, wooden pallets and packaging materials for manufacturers and logistics operators across Vietnam. This article looks back at 2011 - 2026, what ICD Vietnam has built, and where it is heading next.

ICD Vietnam milestones
ICD Vietnam’s 15-year path runs from basic packaging products to integrated packaging solutions. The table summarises the main milestones, and the sections below cover each stage.

2011: starting with basic packaging in Hanoi
ICD Vietnam was founded in 2011 in Hanoi, with its office and warehouse in the capital and a second warehouse in Ho Chi Minh City to serve customers in the south. The range at that point focused on basic packaging products, the supplies every factory and warehouse needs day to day.
Having stock at both ends of the country from the start built a working habit that continues today: goods available, delivered on time, and advice based on each customer’s real warehouse.
2012 - 2021: from the first FDI customer to on-site export sales
In 2012, ICD Vietnam won its first FDI customer. This was a turning point, because FDI companies set high standards for quality, delivery schedules and supply stability. Meeting them required a tighter supply process, and that experience became the foundation for the following years.
In 2021, ICD Vietnam registered Toan Cau Company, opening on-site export sales, meaning orders from export-oriented businesses inside Vietnam are handled through a dedicated entity.
2022 - 2023: wooden pallets and a complete packaging range
In 2022, ICD Vietnam added wooden pallets, allowing it to supply plastic pallets and wooden pallets together. For customers this means one point of contact for both types, choosing by load, warehouse conditions and export requirements rather than dealing with several suppliers.
In 2023 the packaging range was completed with air dunnage bags, desiccant and strapping. These complement pallets by securing cargo, controlling moisture and bundling loads, so customers can source the supplies for a shipment in one place.
3,000 FDI customers and two core product lines
According to ICD Vietnam’s own figures, the company serves around 3,000 FDI customers nationwide. Its two core lines are plastic pallets and wooden pallets, supported by air dunnage bags, desiccant and strapping.
2026: the 15th anniversary during exhibition season
ICD Vietnam’s anniversary year also includes three industry events: VILOG 2026, Vietnam Industry Week 2026 and FBC ASEAN 2026. These gave the ICD Vietnam team the chance to meet customers and partners in person and present its pallets and packaging supplies.
Looking ahead to 2027: the ICD Vietnam North plant
ICD Vietnam’s next step is a northern plant in Bac Giang, planned for 2027. Further details on scale and schedule will be shared once the plan is finalised.
