Component trays are shallow, precise trays for electronic and machined parts – PCBs, SMT components, camera modules and precision-mechanical parts that need a flat, stable, clean carrier. ICD supplies them in ABS and PP, including Korean KS module sizes (478×378 mm) required by Samsung, LG and Foxconn supply chains, with ESD options on request. For larger storage use solid bins. Choose component trays when:
- PCB, SMT and precision parts: a rigid flat tray protects fine components from flexing and knocks.
- Korean-system electronics plants: KS 478×378 modules seat in their racking and AGVs.
- ESD-sensitive handling: conductive/dissipative ABS options protect static-sensitive parts.

2. KS module and ESD – the two electronics requirements
Two things separate an electronics tray from a generic box. First, the module: Korean-system plants (Samsung Display Bac Ninh, LG Display Hai Phong, Foxconn Bac Giang) standardise on the KS 478×378 footprint, and their automated goods-in will reject parts delivered in EU 400×300 trays because the totes do not seat in their racks and AGVs. If you supply these customers, order KS – not EU.
Second, ESD: bare PCBs and many semiconductors are static-sensitive, so the tray should be conductive or dissipative (ESD-grade ABS) to bleed charge safely to ground, not an insulating standard plastic that builds and discharges static into the part. Confirm both with your customer: the required module size and whether ESD protection is specified. ICD supplies KS-format trays in standard and ESD ABS, compatible with Korean 1100×1100 and Japanese T-11 pallets.

1. KS or EU trays for electronics?
KS 478×378 if you supply Samsung/LG/Foxconn-system plants – their warehouses reject EU trays. EU for general use.
