What goods is the DBC800 for?
It is built for small to medium goods packed in cartons, such as book boxes, cosmetics, electronic components and small household items, wrapping PE film around the carton to resist moisture, dust and transport damage.
Can the DBC800 replace a pallet wrapper?
No. They serve different purposes. The DBC800 handles individual cartons up to 30 kg and 800 x 600 x 600 mm, while pallet wrappers handle whole built-up pallets. Many warehouses use both.
Can it wrap cartons that are not perfectly square?
Yes, but the speed and film tension should be adjusted. For uneven boxes, run slower so the film follows the shape of the product.
Can it wrap bags or items with no box?
It is not recommended. The DBC800 is optimised for rigid cartons; bags or unstable shapes are hard to wrap evenly and can jam the machine.
