What is a horizontal stretch wrapping machine and why is it needed?
A standard pallet wrapper works on a vertical axis using a turntable, which cannot handle long goods such as pipes or steel bars. The horizontal S800E lays the product flat and pushes it through a rotating wrapping ring, coating the entire length with PE film automatically.
What product sizes does the ICD-SW-S800E accept?
It uses an 800 mm wrapping ring and accepts products up to 600 mm in diameter, with no limit on length. The conveyor speed is adjustable from 0 to 15 metres per minute and the ring speed from 0 to 80 rotations per minute.
What film does it use?
It runs PE stretch film 100-500 mm wide and supports pre-stretch up to 200 percent to reduce film consumption.
