Lidded plastic baskets are large vented plastic baskets that take a lid to keep dust off goods on long trips. ICD Vietnam lists 2 models: a 510×390×300 mm basket at 42,000 VND and a 1030×670×540 mm basket on 5 wheels at 580,000 VND.
Both are moulded from PP or HDPE and carry a 12-month warranty. The lid is an option chosen when you order and is quoted per model. 2. How a lidded basket differs from a crate
Mesh plastic crates have no lid and drain quickly, which suits harvested produce. A lidded basket keeps the same vented walls and adds a cover, so it keeps dust off on the road. Goods that must stay fully closed, such as small parts or powders, belong in a lidded crate instead.
3. Which basket for which goods
The 510 basket weighs 1.7 kg and carries 30 kg, more than 17 times its own weight, so it suits goods that are lifted by hand many times a day. It comes in black or moss green; fruit and vegetables are its main load, and lighter produce crates are grouped under agricultural produce crates. The 1030 basket comes in blue, green, yellow and red and moves on its 5 wheels, with a UV stabiliser for outdoor use, which suits courier firms, garment factories and produce handling; sizes and castor layouts of wheeled crates are covered in top-selling plastic crates with wheels.
4. Lids and other options when ordering
The lid is an option listed beside logo printing, ID card holders and dividers; its price and size are not published. When you ask for one, send (sizes outside the range can be tooled, see custom plastic bins):

- Quantity, colour and whether you want a logo.

By outer size with no overhang on a 1200×1000 mm pallet, the 510×390 basket fits 5 and the 1030×670 basket fits 1; on a 1100×1100 mm pallet, 4 and 1.
4. What warranty is there?
12 months, counted from the date of sale.
