2. Choosing a Cold-Storage Pallet: Read Three Specifications Before the Price
For cold storage, load is only one of three figures to read. The second is the working temperature range the manufacturer states in writing, because a published load rating often does not say what temperature it was tested at. The third is the leg type and height, which decide whether the pallet fits the rack bay and works with the type of forklift you use.
For the PL08-LK, ICD publishes the load, leg type and height shown in the table above. ICD has not published a working temperature range on this page, so if your store is a deep-freeze room, tell ICD the real operating temperature and the goods so it can be confirmed before you order a large quantity.
